Chapter 7 – I’m Sorry – Do I Know You?
This is a must read chapter for anyone who in uncertain of where their spiritual destiny may take them. This chapter dives into what the personal relationship of a “True Believer” should be with our God, based on Bible facts and principles.
In Matthew 7, Jesus said that on Judgment Day, certain people will approach His throne and claim to have established a personal relationship with Him. Although they will claim “To have performed miracles and other marvelous works in His name,” Yeshua said that He will reply to them (maybe so-but), “I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity!”
This chapter goes on to explain from the Hebrew perspective in which it was written, what being a “Worker of iniquity” really means. Then the story jumps over to Acts 8, and shares an illustrated look in what type of example of “Simon the Sorcerer” demonstrates to us in a relevant way today.
The chapter then focuses on what the Biblical requirements are to becoming a True Believer, who Yeshua will welcome into His Kingdom, rather than judge and turn away.
It starts with a teaching from Genesis on Atonement, and then chapter goes into an intense, but easy to understand teaching on what it really means to become, “Born Again.” The chapter ends by sharing insights about who the “Bride of Christ” really is.
