This is a true story about a 79 year old man’s personal walk with God, written over 8 years, from the aspect of an investigative reporter. A man who spent nearly 50 years of his life both inside and outside of the “corporate church,” freely ministering to hurting people. This book dives into the Biblical history of the personal relationship that God desires to have with mankind. A relationship which many people, unfortunately, keep turning into what Jesus (Yeshua) called the “traditions of man.”

Chapter 8 – So, You Want To Become A Minister?

This chapter starts with some basic Biblical teachings about what the requirements are to actively enter into a “Christian Church” type of ministry. As the chapter progresses, I begin to share different experiences and Biblcal examples from my own life of how my early days of ministry began.

One of the special points that I emphasize is, “counting the cost of serving God.” I share a few highlights, disappointments and challenges about my early years of working full time with a teen ministry program associated with my church.
