The Art Of Religion Book

Religion Vs. Relationship

This is a true story about a 79 year old man’s personal walk with God, written over 8 years, from the aspect of an investigative reporter. A man who spent nearly 50 years of his life both inside and outside of the “corporate church,” freely ministering to hurting people. This book dives into the Biblical history of the personal relationship that God desires to have with mankind. A relationship which many people, unfortunately, keep turning into what Jesus (Yeshua) called the “traditions of man.”

Chapter 4 – Spiritual Warfare: Basic Training

This chapter begins with some interesting facts on basic Spiritual Warfare, then gives a teaching that Jesus shared about, the “Rich man and Lazarus.” This personal teaching from Messiah sets the parameters for “Heaven vs. Hell,” and “Purgatory.”

Then the chapter takes a personal turn and shares a heartfelt story about a woman named Sharon, who became an incredible life-changing influence in my young Christian life. The story of Sharon tells how a lonely, dying woman who had lost all hope, ended up finding her Savior.

The rest of the chapter is intermingled with some of my own harrowing, personal experiences, and the battles that raged around me, but each one ends with a praise report that I share. I also share Biblical facts on spiritual warfare that are woven into each of those personal stories.

Now it is your turn to comment about shared experiences, ideas, memories, or simply tell me how you were affected by this chapter!
